We were the first Miniature Horse Society in the UK to introduce the American way of showing, meaning we can offer you more classes in a packed day of showing at our two National Shows. As well as AMHA showing we have classes
for all types of miniature horse, Shetland ponies including  performance classes and driving plus HOYS qualifiers.

A tribute of a great friend and character of MHCGB, Pat Englund. We all miss her so much. She was always so kind and generous to all of us. The Pat Englund Memorial trophy is offered at our National Championship Show.

  • We issue Equine Passports! As of 1st January 2021 all horses with existing EU passports residing in the UK are required to be overstamped / registered with their corresponding breeding book in the UK. If you import a horse from the EU with an EU passport your horse must be registered in the UK within 30days of arrival.   Your EU passport can be overstamped, please check out our member services page for further information on Overstamping.    AMHCGB hold the only DEFRA approved breeding book for American Miniature Horses. Our Overstamping Form with guidance notes is available Here
